Vegan Thanksgiving 2016

Join us for our Fourth (!!) Annual Chico Vegan Thanksgiving Potluck. Our compassionate harvest-themed meal takes place on Saturday, November 19 at 5 pm.

This year’s event will be held at the Chico Boys and Girls Club Teen Center at 601 Wall Street in downtown Chico. There is a charge to cover the rental of Teen Center because we’ve outgrown our usual location for this popular event.

Please buy your ticket early; space is limited. After you sign up, you will be directed to a separate potluck coordination page.

This space is wheelchair accessible.
In order to protect the environment, please…
– Ride your bike!
– Carpool (bring a friend with you to the event)
– Bring a reusable/washable plate and utensils

Bring a 100% plant-based dish free of flesh, eggs, animal-derived dairy, honey, and gelatin. If you don’t cook, that’s okay — bring something from the store! Your dish should serve 6 people.

Meatless Monday & Beer Tasting – New Earth Market

Join us on Monday July 25, 2016 for Meatless Monday at New Earth Market in Chico! This will be a great opportunity to sample vegan items from the deli, coffee bar, and throughout the store, as well as mingle and meet other vegans and folks interested in getting started with shifting their diets from the Standard Western Diet to a more plant-based diet. This is a great event to invite friends, co-workers, and family members to. PLEASE SHARE THIS EVENT WIDELY!

Vegan Cooking Class Series

Dharma Voices for Animals (Chico Chapter) and Chico Vegan present the 2016 Series: Cooking for Compassion and Health. Back by popular demand, sign up for these classes where we explore various topics in plant-based cooking. All are welcome!

All classes will be held from on Saturdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Sky Creek Dharma Center, 120 Three Oaks Court, Chico. Classes will cost $15 to cover materials and donations to Sky Creek and Dharma Voices for Animals).
